Mr. Rawson’s experience began as an engineer in Training and expanded to 21+ years as an owner. In addition to consulting engineering experience, Mr. Rawson has 2+ years as a Project Engineer/Manager for a mechanical contracting company.
Jared Deerman, P.E.
Principal
Mr. Deerman has over 16 years of consulting experience in HVAC and Plumbing design. Project types include new building design and renovation projects for healthcare, research labs (animal and human), primary and secondary education, and commercial. Mr. Deerman’s experience began as an Engineer in Training and expanded to 10+ years as Professional Engineer and Project Manager.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for a wide range of projects, including healthcare facilities, military installations, and other commercial buildings. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Preparing engineering calculations, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams across disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards licensure is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software.
- Strong Understanding of LEED standards and energy-efficient designs is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
